Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice! Tenchu Stealth Assassins successor made by From Software. Sekiro is one of 2019s greatest games that has earned a repuation for its unforgiving difficulty. Sekiro, a action game with stealth elements with minor RPG features. This game thankfully makes the player improve himself in order to defeat the challenges ahead, instead of relying on farming and player summoning. I had a fantastic time playing Sekiro, even though I was whooped back and forth the entire way through. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Coming from Dark Souls, I found myself playing in the wrong manner of which From Software intended Sekiro to be played. Now you have to parry at the right moment or face death. Twice.
Honestly, Sekiro isn't all that difficult once you pay attention, something of which I am known not to do, so enjoy the beat down I take for being so bold as to skip past Sekiro's warnings.
If they are to make a Sekiro 2, I do feel there are areas of which could be improved upon. The camera being a From Software staple at this point, but it needs fixing. As well as cutting back on the many reused enemies, mini-bosses and bosses. Replaying the same boss 4 times loses its charm. Sekiro 2, I believe in you.
I feel Sekiro is a wonderful game that teaches you to be a better gamer, for that it has my respect, and i'm always itching to play more. Sekiro is one game that has left a positive memory that I will adore. With Resident Evil Remake 2 and Devil May Cry out during the same months, I didn't expect another game to get a chance to battle for my time, but Sekiro not only managed to do so, but I put so many hours into the From Software title that it over shadowed the rest.
A massive Dark Souls fan, I am proud to see how far From Software has come. Back in the day when they were known for Tenchu, I never expected the company to rise up to the level they've reached. Where as many Japanese game developing companies fell and stumbled in the late 2000s; From Software managed to not only stay afloat in the new HD era, but they managed to go beyond their reach and find new fans world wide with Demon's Souls. Now we're here; Sekiro, the coolest Ninja video game in many years.
From gameplay, to art style, to sound design, to the fun bosses... Sekiro has so much to offer.
