Sennheiser has introduced the fourth generation of its Momentum wireless headphones. These differ significantly from their predecessors in terms of appearance and offer, among other things, improved noise suppression and an even longer battery life. Our colleague Johannes Knapp was allowed to try out the new over-ears for a week.
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless have a completely new, minimalist design that no longer has much in common with the usual look of the Momentum series. There is only one visible button, otherwise control is via touch-sensitive surfaces. In addition to Bluetooth, the headphones can also be connected to audio sources via cable.
The sound of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless is impressive thanks to the 42 mm speaker system. The same applies to wearing comfort and sound insulation. Of course, it is possible to control and adjust the headphones via Sennheiser's Smart Control app. In addition to an equalizer, the active noise suppression can also be set individually there.
Sennheiser promises a battery life of up to 60 hours. In addition, the headphones should enable another six hours of playback after just ten minutes of charging. The Momentum 4 wireless headphones will be available from August 23, 2023 in black and white at a suggested retail price of $349.90.
