Prior to this match, I wasn't even sure if it was possible to unlock multiple variants in a single game, but here we go with what is going to be a trend for the coming week.

As with all Freedom 6s, you must lose to Iron Legacy using them before you can unlock them. After that, you can then unlock them by doing different things. Absolute Zero is kind of straightforward in that you need to destroy his equipment at least once. The thing is, not every villain can do this, plus it takes time to get them out. So I figured instead of waiting for the villain to destroy his stuff, I can bring Unity and cut out the middle man.

Now, Unity's unlock is contingent upon her having more bots on the field than she has HP, which is a feat possible due to sacrificing all of Absolute Zero's equipment. Then when it became clear Akash couldn't clear my bots, I realized I could take a stab for both of these.

The nice thing about this match is that I learned more about Unity and I might be able to use her in some of the upcoming one-shots to a better degree than before. The bad thing is that I still have an extremely low opinion of hew variant. I forgot to mention here that the 4 is a base damage, meaning things can increase it even further, so she does not work well with guys who amplify her damage (Legacy). I can imagine her working well with Tachyon since you can get a lot of cards and use the bench and discards to summon your bots rather than HP and ally equipment. As for Absolute Zero, I need to see if his variant has any synergy with his deck, because it seems to leave some things to be desired.
