This is one of the cheese team comps that you can field against specific villains that are giving you a lot of trouble due to sheer damage output. We basically have 4 sources of damage reduction that is further augmented by 2 sources of damage reduction (Mantis and Caliginous). If you set up Fixer as the highest HP and Writhe as the lowest, it becomes extremely difficult to damage this team and you can just make things a battle of attrition to win.

So Tachyon is here for two purposes, the first of which is that she can have everyone draw cards, and then she can stall the game with Hypersonic Assault. There is a reason this variant is considered to be one of the three strongest in the game, and it really does play into any composition.

As for Chrono, he is here to amplify damage to offset Chokepoint's reduction, and then to weaken her nuke with his Dart Thrower. Anything else you do is bonus, but you want to make sure that Chrono is never the highest HP as he can start to get hit.

Wraith is here for her Stun Bolts, but she can also delay the game with Throat Jab to buy you another round. To make things even better, Mega Computers can minimize the effectiveness of the environment here.

Fixer has the most important role as he can block nukes, such as Chokepoint's flip. Your goal is to use the other sources of damage reduction with either Hoist Chain or Pipe Wrench, then have Driving Mantis redirect the last bit into the source of the hit. Even big nukes like Chokepoint's can be redirected with this.

And the Sentinels are here for Adamant Idealist's TK Thump and then just the utility they normally provide. With Writhe's Caliginous Form, even low HP nukes can be redirected. Then just use their plentiful one-shots to eat away at the villain's HP.

So if you ever find yourself wanting to beat a villain known for nukes, you can always use this group to achieve that. Just hang in there until you have the cards you need, then cut loose.
