Occasionally I found this weird difficulty of the second level: after playing multiple time the level 1, only once I enter the second level and found the number of ammo and enemies are different as other times. Briefly, there are more ammo, less enemies and is less difficult, and the score I got was less than "usual" Serious when I reached the same point in the game process.
At last, it is not Hard, neither Normal, nor Mental.
In this video, you can see:
- at the beginning, the ammo is 5 shells*20, not 3;
- there are more bomb men, but no bulls as usual;
- in the second half I don't have enemies coming from behind;
- the number of enemies is 137, not 196(Serious), neither 182(Hard), nor 122(Normal)
- in the Statistics it is said to be Serious
- in the secret chamber (first secret in Sand Canyon), there are only two monsters, not 5, as we can see in the "usual" Serious difficulty.
It is really a discovery. Level 1 was pretty normal and only thing I remember is that I got all secrets and completed it in 10 minutes(9:47) and the score was 10258200, and I killed all 64 monsters, under Serious difficulty.
