In this video, Bert was reading a book about pigeons, and he told Ernie that he was just about to start reading his new book called "Leap and the Lost Dinosaur. It was nice and quiet, but Bert thought now would be a great time to read. Ernie tells Bert that it's easy to read when it's quiet and it's hard to read when it's loud. For example, libraries are so quiet. Suddenly Ernie annoys Bert with all the sounds like the dog barking, the car horn honking, and the fire engine. Bert yells at Ernie because he was annoyed by all the loud sounds, and he cannot read! Ernie finds something else to do like play some rock 'n' roll music. Bert tells Ernie that rock 'n' roll is LOUD. Ernie plays some rock 'n' roll music with these headphones so it might sound very loud to Ernie but it might be very quiet for Bert. And finally, Ernie tells Bert to go right ahead and read away. Bert does so, and reads his book in peace and quiet. Ernie plays some Eric Clapton - Layla (which was originally by Derek and the Dominos and is from an album called Complete Clapton - Standard Release. The writers were Glenn Frey, J. D. Souther, and Don Henley and is a copyright of UMG records.) Bert yells at Ernie so loud he can't hear his music. Bert faints as Ernie keeps listening to the song again.

The original Sesame Street sketch was from 1993 where Bert was originally about to start reading his new book called "Bonfire of the Oatmeal" and Ernie was annoying Bert with all the loud sounds that he made. I added some sound effects like the fire engine, the barking dog, and the sounds of cars to replace Ernie making all the sounds. I also added a record scratch effect, a slide whistle down and a thud sound effect to make it sound easy. Bert was performed by Frank Oz and Ernie was performed by Steve Whitmire. Created with Camcorder on my Android, and PowerDirector.
