Nintendo has always had a fascination with remakes and remasters. In all honesty, for good reason too since they have some of the most important and recognizable intellectual property in the entire medium of video games. While Samus Returns was finally released it was done so extremely late in the 3DS’s life cycle. I mean the Switch was already out for 6 months. Really questionable move not having the game developed for the Switch honestly. Despite that Samus Returns is very important to the leadup to Metroid Dread so let’s finally delve into the Metroid 2 Remake the fans had been begging for for decades, that was actually made by Nintendo.
