This video picks up after the tornado warning was issued near my area, once the storm moved closer to my location I started recording again. This is just the edge of the storm that was moving through, it hit us with some winds that I guess off of feeling and experience to be close to gusts of 35mph to 50mph. It never rained besides a few drops because where we were. The storm was so intense but had not outer rain bands in our area, but we were REALLY close to the actual intense part of the storm.
This storm started some time around noon picking up intensity in Iowa and made its way all the way through down the eastern side of Missouri and barreled straight through southern Illinois. The storm weakened a decent bit around 8:50pm and continued onward to the south spreading out its size as it came closer to death and hit Alabama, western Kentucky, and Tennessee.
We could still hear thunder here until around 9:00pm in the area this was filmed. And it left us with a very beautiful sunset around 8:15.
