Step 1: Cutting the fabric https://youtube.com/live/N-MNNJuxldc

I had two washing mitts with holes in them... so it's time to make new ones!
For the loop, I used small pieces of music-themed ribbon.
For the top border, I used pieces of white ribbon.

When cutting the fabric like this, I took about 1.5 cm seam allowance ( = extra fabric) on two sides. On the top side, I used the white ribbon to cover the fraying edges.

My fabric scissors came from the @HEMA .
I bought the fabric at the local fabric market.
The ribbons were a birthday gift, but probably bought at the @FlyingTigerCPH or HEMA .
The sewing machine is a Brother Innov-is F420 https://sewingcraft.brother.eu/nl-nl/producten/machines/naaimachines/naaimachines-voor-gevorderden/innov-is-f420 @BrotherSewingCraftEurope
The "Finding Dory" glass is a @loewensenf_de mustard jar which was meant as a drinking glass.
