Sewing two new washing mitts (washing gloves) - STEP 1 of 2: CUTTING
I had two washing mitts with holes in them... so it's time to make new ones!
In this video, I'm just cutting the fabric and ribbons.
For the loop, I cut small pieces of music-themed ribbon.
For the top border, I cut pieces of white ribbon.
When cutting the fabric like this, I took about 1.5 cm seam allowance ( = extra fabric) on two sides. On the top side, I'll use the white ribbon to cover the fraying edges.
My fabric scissors came from the @HEMA , fabric from the local fabric market.
In one of my next live videos, I will sew the washing mitts :)

Testing my camera set-up for cutting fabric here...
It's okay-ish, but you can see the ringlight in the corner, so next time I'll try to position the camera a bit better.
Togepi pincushion is in the video too, even though I didn't need to use any pins in this case.
