The two main useful techs here are Stand LK into EX Fireball as a frame trap and also CR LP into Regular Fireball and then buffering VT1.

Stand LK into Fireball is best in the corner and works in VT1 and out of it. Out of it is best for a trade situation, if the opponent blocks the sequence Ken is plus 1 and gets a meaty throw or can frame trap. The gap between Stand LK and EX Fireball is what causes the trade:

CR LP into Regular fireball works in a similar fashion and again is best in the corner. On hit you get a full VT1 activation combo off the fireball, on block you get plus frames, if they press between the gap you get the trade combo and heavy plus frames:
