How to get your stick or pad working on the PC version of SFV

goo.gl/BwehHa - Most popular stick configuration
goo.gl/t4Eqt6 - Alternative stick configuration
goo.gl/2YbOLO - Most popular pad configuration

Download link for Dantarion's SFVDInput DLL:
https://github.com/dantarion/SF5DInput
From what I've researched, it works for PS3 and PS4 controllers. It makes your computer recognize them as Xinput. It seems to be a lot faster to set up, which is appealing. Some people are saying this method has less input lag than x360, some people are saying it has the same amount. I have no idea. I just know that it's another way to get things working, so if it sounds like your bag then get it. It apparently still doesn't work with all USB style controllers, however.

Download link for x360ce
https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce
download link is halfway down the page. Download 64 bit, then when in the binaries folder you should make/have a folder called Win64 this should go into.

Download for Joytokey
http://joytokey.net/en/download
x360ce is better, so use that if possible.

Default keyboard controls for PC SFV:
Light Punch = G
Medium Punch = H
Hard Punch = J
Macro 1 = K
Light Kick = B
Medium Kick = N
Hard Kick = M
All kicks = ,
Pause Menu = ENTER
Directions are WASD or arrow keys

TUTORIAL

1. Plug all controllers into your computer. Find them in "Devices" in your control panel. Right click each one and go to game controller settings, then properties to see whether your inputs are registering

2. Take note of these schematics: goo.gl/BwehHa or goo.gl/t4Eqt6 if you want to play on stick. goo.gl/1PgOgF if you want to play on pad. Hit the buttons on your own stick or pad according to these schematics and write down what "buttons" your LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK (and macros) would be.

METHOD 1: x360CE
3. Download x360ce from https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce . I messed up in the video. Get 64-bit no matter what. Open your SFV folder. Default location: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\StreetFighterV . Then open StreetFighterV folder THERE, then binaries, then make a folder called Win64. Put x360ce_x64.exe in there.

4. Open x360ce, have it download defaults about what controller(s) you've plugged in. Remap them according to the notes you took if necessary, as long as they end up exactly matching goo.gl/2YbOLO (even if you weren't setting up for this pad configuration earlier, they must match this now). Make sure your controller(s) are in port 1 (and port 2).

4.1. To change the controller port, go to the second row of tabs near the top, click the far right button that says the controller's name. Halfway down the right side is a "Map to" dropdown, select the desired port (1 for player 1, 2 for player 2)

5. Save this configuration and close x360ce. Open SFV. It should work.

METHOD 2: Joytokey
3. Download joytokey from http://joytokey.net/en/download . Unzip it and put it anywhere. Run joytokey.exe

4. Create a profile, then map your buttons to correspond to the default keyboard controls of SFV:
Light Punch = G
Medium Punch = H
Hard Punch = J
Macro 1 = K
Light Kick = B
Medium Kick = N
Hard Kick = M
Macro 2 = , (comma)
Pause Menu = ENTER
Directions are WASD or arrow keys

Make them correspond to the buttons you mapped from earlier in step 2

4.1. If you're having trouble finding an axis, go to options and set stick POV to show all axes then just hit the direction or button, it should light up for you.

5. You need to open Joytokey and set it to the right profile every time you want to play. Also, closing joytokey with the X at the top just minimizes it, so when you're done playing you need to go to file then exit.

NOTE: x360 requires:
.NET 3.5 (includes 2.0 and 3.0) - included in Windows 7.
In Windows 8 and 10: Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn Windows features on or off - enable “.NET Framework 3.5 (includes 2.0 and 3.0)”.
• .NET 4.6 (includes 4.0) - included in Windows 8 and 10.
• DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010) - Required regardless of OS; .NET MUST be installed prior to the DirectX update.
• Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2013 - For x64 systems install both x86 and x64 redistributables.
