Faced an Ed player online the other day whilst streaming and he used regular psycho upper in a place where I considered it to be unorthodox.
Looked into the situation in the lab and seems that using regular psycho upper in certain situations is legit and it causes the counterhit pushback tech to occur. This video goes over some examples...

So when Mika scores a knockdown on Ed in certain scenarios, Mika players have to be aware of:

Backdash (which I heard is getting adjusted for AE)
St.LK
EX Psycho Upper (as it's fully invincible)
Regular Psycho Upper (causes counterhit pushback)
