The logo combo is the same as the previous, except the Screen Gems Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation logos appear before the Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies logo.
A sequel to Yoshi's Island (1996), the film is produced without the involvement of Geffen Pictures or Amblin Entertainment. It is also the first Nintendo Animation film to be co-produced by Paramount Pictures and Screen Gems Pictures, and the first Nickelodeon Movies film to be co-produced by Sony Pictures Animation.
