This video is showing the new light engine for the open-source engine I'm working on right now (Shadow Engine).

Gameplay and screencord on an eMachines E525 running Linux Ubuntu 13.04 with Gnome 3.8 . Recorded via Gnome's WebM recorder - blame Gnome for that video quality and missing sound.

FAQ:

Q: Why is it night in-game?
A: I've set the daytime to night in-code for this video. Shadow Engine has got an integrated daytime system already.

Q: Is this IGM2E?
A: No, this is NOT IGM2E. IGM2E has been canceled since Fourbytes (game dev team) formed. It's precessor is IGM2E and it is kinda similar to IGM2E but it is NOT IGM2E.

Q: What is Shadow Engine?
A: Shadow Engine is an codebase / engine / you call it for creating games in Java more easily using LibGDX for low-level code and pre-given code (the Shadow Engine part of Shadow Engine), omitting some stuff LibGDX gives, for example scenes or it's particle system.
It's open source and it's repo is on GitHub: https://github.com/AngelDE98/shadow-engine
Shadow Engine Test is just another term for calling the runnable unmodified Shadow Engine.

Q: Is it Android / Ouya compatible?
A: Yes, it's Ouya - Compatible. I don't own an Ouya but it has been tested on an Ouya by others.
Yes, it's Android - Compatible (I guess Ouya-Compatible did answer this question) but to clearify: No, it hasn't got an "joystick" but an split button layout for movement.
No, it's NOT HTML5 / JS compatible and it won't be as it isn't planned.
