Note: this works in the PS3 version as well (I tested it) so give it a try ; )

Here's a much easier way to get onto Kegan's rock at G8. The other method you may have seen in Baxtertimewell's video is much harder as you have to maneuver Agro into a narrow crevice in the cliff face.. I always had trouble doing this. Also, this method allows you to get to the top of the cliffs.

You can see I get amazing height with this method and can leap right over the cliff walls onto the plateau.
