Shadow of the Colossus - Pelagia reverts to non-triggered state

I have made a discovery that I don't think I had realised before... As you know, I can shift Wander's camera to a colossus and then take over its controls to move it around etc. So I did this with Pelagia (#12) and found when I press D-Pad DOWN it reverts back to its (non-triggered) state.
That is the state you find it when you first enter the arena. I had found all the (before activation codes) for the colossi years ago, so I was really surprised when this code worked once Pelagia was already activated and moving around its arena.
Hard to explain really... but in simple terms, once Pelagia is triggered normally, I use use D-Pad DOWN to revert Pelagia back to its non-triggered state. Then I can use my codes to move it around.
At the end of the video we see the dead Pelagia underwater.
