I just finished playing Shadow Ops: Red Mercury on the Steam Deck, and wow — this game is a time capsule. It’s like Call of Duty before Modern Warfare ever existed, complete with over-the-top missions, cheesy one-liners, and some brutal old-school difficulty.

In this video, I show you how to get the game running on Steam Deck and then dive into a full retro review — including my memories of renting it back in the day, why it still kinda slaps, and what hasn’t aged so well.
