The strat I had for this night was way more effective than the other: Once the night starts put on the right side of the room then play the tape, while staring the right aiming down, if you see the closet opening it means he's there, avoid him. If you hear knocks and the closet doesnt open then shine the middle closet. If he's not there then he will enter through the left door.
Basically you have to focus on not let him enter through the middle or right entry since its hard to avoid him from those spots. Once he's down the bed, before checking him go reverse the tape and then look down the bed, once he's out of the room point at the right side, play the tape again and repeat the strat for the rest of the night.
There are some things that can screw the strat, mostly are based on RNG.
This is why I highly recommend playing the game with the volume higher than 50.
