Shanghai Racing 2 on Java emulator test
0Shanghai Racing 2 is dissapointing. The game has only 4 tracks and 3 cars. Okay actually, the game takes place in Shanghai, so you actually get the same track, but during 4 different times of the day. And the game doesn’t nail the atmoshere. You play as a taxi driver with a modified car. It even has a solar panel on the back. The car mechanics are similar to asphalt, and some of the objects in the background, problem is, the little details are missing too. Shanghai is a busy city. It has a lot of trafic. Here, you don’t even see another car on the road. You are alone on the street speeding the same straight road over and over. And it gets boring, even if you get some kind of story dialogue. Just speeding around, in a few cars, in the same looking track, becomes boring. At least if they made the tracks look different, like for example one looking more residential, one in a place with more vegetation, stuff like that. Every city has different looks depending on the suburb.
