Boss: Empress Spider (Chit-Chat Queen Royale) - 09:06

Cackle Tower is a bit less annoying than Spittle Maze since now you have a good ranged attack and you get the Hat which helps a lot dodging crap.

The dual mini-boss room is not as bad as Spittle Maze's but still very dangerous. The mini-bosses are only vulnerable after attacking, if you try to beat them after that they'll poof into a bat and move away, so gotta be careful when there's two of those things around.

Empress Spider is a tough boss if you don't know what you're doing, that slam attack is awfully random and not staying in the corners turn the entire fight into a guessing game, especially during Empress Spider's second phase.

The boss has a simple pattern: slam, spit egg, slam, fire breath. The fire attack always comes after she slams down thrice (after the egg spit), so you have time to move to a better position if the boss is too close to you. The second phase starts once you whittle her health low enough, she'll start doing the slam attack faster, spit more eggs and breathes fire twice, so watch out for that.

Stay in one of the corners and be patient, the boss will never slam those spots. A nice trick to dodge the fire breath is count 2 seconds once you hear it hitting the ground before jumping and using the Hat, try to aim where it landed as it'll be where the fire will start fading.

Make sure to know when Empress Spider will use the fire breath and don't try to dodge it if the boss uses TOO close to you. Do everything right and you'll earn the Squashed Spider achievement.
