Should there be a mechanic to get an adventuring party together? Fantasy Role-Playing games like Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons are based around the concept of the adventuring party. One of the challenges for dungeon master and player alike is getting the party started and having all the characters together all at the same time. No matter the race, class, or even campaign setting there should be ways for all the player characters to be linked up at the beginning of the 1sesion of the game.
