The hot-swappable gaming keyboard not only has a cleverly designed 75 percent layout, but it is also completely customizable, whether it's for the choice of switches or for the configuration of the keys. The full customization is provided by the keyboard's compatibility with all mechanical switches, whether they have 3 or 5 pins, and the open-source software QMK and VIA. A double-layer silicone damping and a positioning plate made of polycarbonate ensure a rich sound and an evenly diffused illumination.
The Sharkoon SGK50S3 is one of Sharkoon’s first gaming keyboards with a 60 percent layout, offering a lot of features and functions in a small and sleek design.
The Sharkoon SGK50S3 has a plastic front panel and a metal base that give it a sturdy and durable look. It has a black color with red LED indicators for power, mode, and key status. It also has an optional front I/O port with USB Type-C, USB 3.0, combo audio, and LED indicators.
The Sharkoon SGK50S3 supports up to three different Kailh switch types: linear red switches, tactile brown switches, and clicky blue switches. All switches have an actuation point of 1.9 mm and an average lifespan of 70 million keystrokes. You can easily swap the switches without any tools or software, thanks to the hot-swap PCB that lies between two foam mats.
The Sharkoon SGK50S3 has a hot-swappable design that allows you to install up to three different switches with either 3 or 5 pins. You can choose from various options depending on your preferences and budget. The keyboard supports up to three expansion slots for high-end graphics cards, network adapters, or RAID cards.

The keyboard also has dedicated media controls for play/pause/stop/previous/next/rewind/fast forward/mute/volume up/volume down.
