Shenmue Longplay Part 2 (Dreamcast, Retrotink-5x 1440p, No Commentary)
2CONTINUITY WARNING: My original recording of this footage got messed up, so I had to go back and re-record the last half of disc 1. There may be some stuff that doesn't quite match up with the rest of the playthrough.
Captured using the following:
Dreamcast Console - PAL game used to continue save data into Shenmue II
Retro-access RGB SCART cable - Outputting 480p from the console
Retrotink-5X - Outputting 1440p, DTV optimized sampling to maintain aspect ratio
AverMedia Live Gamer 4K capture card - Capturing 1440p using the "Optimized" quality level in ReCapture. The resulting file was almost 115 GB in size!
This was one of my absolute favorite games growing up and I felt that the HD console and PC port from a few years ago didn't really do the game justice. I strive for this to be the highest quality Dreamcast version footage I can possibly make.
