Shin Ankoku Glitching Fun
Finally, I bought some freaking batteries (WAY overpriced too) for my camera! I should note some things before I begin explaining the video:\n\n1. I only recorded the bottom screen. The quality is at least decent that way.\n\n2. I shake the DS quite a bit (though this is nothing compared to when I run the game, seriously). I have shaky hands to begin with, so I can't really help it. I apologize for any motion sickness this video causes though. :)\n\n3. I don't have the proper plug with me for recording the DS audio directly, so this is all over the air garbage. Prepare for lots of clicking and button mashing sounds.\n\nNow, on to the video description. I demonstrate five different things I found in this video. I wanted to display another new thing I noticed post-crash, but I couldn't place 90 identical still images at the end of the video. Instead, use this link to see an interesting side effect of the crash:\n\nhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/DarkKnightSparda/glitchresults.jpg\n\nThe things demonstrated are as follows (in this order):\n\n1. Two long distance conversations with Marich. I probably could've done three on a different map, but I also killed Wendel that time around.\n\n2. I called this the triple trade when I was getting the video ready, which I think is a fun name (Triple Triad, anyone?). Marth picks one of his three clones to trade with. I also point out that those three clone spaces can't be moved to by a player unit on that turn.\n\nFor those who may be curious, the weapon in Marth's inventory was renamed Walletbuster. Haw haw?\n\n3. Long distance shopping and trading. This one is fun.\n\n4. The cursor freak-out side effect that I was "keeping to myself," if you read my blog post from a while back. The ONLY way to escape this side effect and continue with the chapter is to use the stylus to find and select the one open tile. You can't cancel that move.\n\n5. Here it is: the mighty stylus poke of doom. I discovered this much easier method of crashing the game after struggling to reproduce what I wrote about in the blog post. As you can see, this method is much easier. Completely self-explanatory from the video too.\n\nThat's everything that I know of right now, besides the rather pointless auto-scroll (mentioned in the blog post already). If you want me to explain anything I did in this video, please don't hesitate to ask.
