Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (Hardtype) - Daisoujou (Low Level/No Fusion/100%)

- This run is being played on Normal difficulty. I know I'm not playing the "real" hardtype experience by playing in Hard mode, but this mod is already hellish even on a standard run. Jim Reaper shows it is barely possible to beat a low level run normally through ridiculous fusion shenanigans. I don't think the game is even possible on Hard without fusion due to the many damage checks that start to appear after and including Trumpeter unless you maybe grind to unrealistically high levels.
- EXP gain will be kept as minimal as possible, though grinding will be inevitable at some points.
- No fusion is allowed whatsoever, including Mitamas. I am allowed to put demons into the compendium and buy them back. I am also allowed to use demons bought from Shady Brokers and evolved demons that are leveled past Demi-fiend, but I am not allowed to use special cutscene recruited demons that have base levels well beyond Demi-fiend, such as Black Frost, Dante, or the Uber Pixie. However, due to stat doors, I can still hold one of them to not be locked out of Metatron.
- Stat booster items will be kept to a minimum, only using the items received from chests and boss fights. However, there are two major points where I am locked out due to stat doors, so I will need to farm enough to be able to progress. Otherwise, I cannot use any more than what is necessary.
- I will be gunning for Masakados and the True Demon Ending.
Hardtype changes:
- HP: 2500 → 3600
Honestly this fight is pretty simple and easy thanks to his lack of buff cleanse and how accessible Tetraja is now. Because of this, I made things much harder on myself and switched to Kamudo to pick up Focus early to give me some more firepower to end upcoming fights much more quickly.
This made me lose a few attempts because of Preach, but it was still not nearly as bad as what was to come.
