Here it is, the grand finale.

The first section can be a real bitch if you're still not used to the ability to hang from horizontal surfaces. Even if you are, failing to remember that taking a hit will send you spiralling to the floor may well cause the loss of many hard-earned lives. Hell, even going up the elevator can be a problem, because straying too close to the edge may well result in being knocked off the edge by a solitary bullet.

The top of the... whatever this thing's called... is no exception to frustration. Nothing but a barrage of heavy firepower is flung at you, save for the inclusion of a few of those bastard flying drones.

Once inside, you'll be relying on non-combat skills to progress, and this can be VERY tricky. One false move, and you either fall down and die, or fall down and have to do everything all over again, but with less life. The final wall-jumping section is one of my favourite platforming moments for the reason that it combines both of these elements; you screw up, and you fall - but with the crushing wall now closer and still moving in.

Shame the boss is so lacking though. Zeed was a far superior enemy, seeing as he had a hint of unpredictability about him. Shadow Master just... he just sucks.

The music's a damn fine example of what a decent composer could do with the chipset though.
