In case you have yet to realize, this is the final stage of Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master.

Previously, Joe Musashi has once again defeated the evil Ninja Master, but now there's one more character to target and kill before Joe can finally end Neo Zeed once and for all.

He boards Neo Zeed's new flying airship, which is also its new headquarters. First he must travel under the ship, then travel over it, all while either dodging or destroying any of the ship's weapons that he comes across.

And that's only Act 1. Act 2 completely lacks any and all enemies. Here, Joe has to rely on his double jumps, wall jumps, and ceiling clings in order to get though the ship's massive engine room. If he's not careful here, he could get zapped.

--------------

At the end, Joe Musashi finally faces his most formidable foe yet, the most powerful weapon of Neo Zeed: The Shadow Master. You fight him in an alternate virtual reality

He has a few of Joe's moves, except they're more powerful than his. He also has his own attacks that you need to watch out for. Among them is a Shoryuken, which he could use to punish your divekicks with.

He starts out mostly black/brown, but after he takes enough damage, he turns red and starts using a lot of the more powerful original attacks I brought up.

If you manage to hurt him enough from there, he blows up, along with the entire ship, as if he was the very core of it all.

Luckily, Joe was quickly able to escape the ship as it went up in flames and crashed into the land. Japan was safe once again thanks to Joe Musashi: The Legendary Shinobi.

During the credits, Joe is once again riding his horse through the sunset, waiting for when it's once again his time to be the hero of the shadows.

Despite the "TO BE CONTINUED!" at the end of the credits, there hasn't really been any more Shinobi games that continue Joe's story. Fortunately, he still makes some appearances here and there, like being a secret character in the PS2 Shinobi, as well as one in Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Speaking of which, if there's any more Shinobi games I want to record for YouTube now, I'd want to focus on the PS2 game next. So stay tuned and look out for that playthrough later on in our lives!
