Shiny Mewtwo after 16,102 resets & Kanto Pokédex completed!! Live! - Pokémon FireRed
After finding shiny roaming Suicune, I was thinking about the Pokémon I would take to my next objective, Mewtwo. I took a good look at all my Pokémon and concluded that I would take my old friends, Pokémon that I captured during my early days in Pokémon FireRed, many of whom I had never trained or planned to train from the beginning. I was happy to finally find a good time to train my old Pokémon. After training I went to Cerulean City to finally reach the Cerulean Cave and enter for the first time. I collected all the objects that were in the cave. After this, I went to where the last Pokémon that was left to capture and complete the Kanto Pokédex was.
As I said in the video, I practiced this capture 3 times. In 2 of the 3 attempts I was unsuccessful. In the only and last attempt it could be said that I did not catch it but that the Pokéball I threw at it moved three times for the first time after all the Pokéballs I used up to that moment. This battle really made me feel like the first few shiny legendary Pokémon battles I ever had. This was the reason why I got nervous, but also excited to do this challenge. I knew I wasn't as well prepared as I was in the previous recent battles against legendary Pokémon, but I believed in my team and in the end, I succeeded. Not only did I manage to capture my first Mewtwo (3rd gen) in a Pokéball, but I also managed to complete the Kanto Pokédex at the same time and get the Bronze Trainer Card for the first time on my Pokémon FireRed. All this live !!
My daily resets goal was the following: 4 recording sessions of ~1h and 20 min. 250 resets for each session. Most of the resets were recorded while others were done off-camera due to my battery life or other reasons.
At that time I was starting to watch the first episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal and that was the last recording session of the day. As I recorded and watched the series, I could only think about my next goals in my new game of Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia and the next video I was hoping to record for the channel.
Anyway, it has been very satisfying to get and record this moment. By achieving this, I can now return to my Pokémon LeafGreen game where my next objectives/challenges await me that I hope you can see very soon on the channel. As for my Pokémon FireRed, I will probably record two videos soon. In a video, you will see how I react when I get the next star on my Trainer Card, both in my Pokémon FireRed and in Pokémon LeafGreen. It will be a video that I will upload to my Facebook page, exclusively. And on the other, I'll do the Pokémon League rematch for the YouTube channel.
