#miraiuniverse 🎧 Shiny Shell Showdown – Sonic Sunshine OST (Transition Track)
Multiverse Explorer Bugsy NoName back at it—this time, cracking into one of the weirdest slices of Sonic Sunshine yet. This 33-second burst of unease? That’s Shiny Shell Showdown—not a level, but a warning.

This track plays right after Pollun Grove and slams you into the shift that leads into Knuckles' level, Sunken Gearjaw. The vines, mist, and lush color drain out, and suddenly you’re face-to-face with a humming, coral-crusted EggTech drill, still buzzing like it's alive. And it’s no mistake the track just stops. That buzz saw sound? It’s not just ambiance. It’s your gut telling you something’s wrong.

đŸ„Š Knuckles says it best:

“I don’t like it when things go quiet like that. Not in a place like this.
That buzzin’? That’s not ambient. That’s warning.
And if Eggman’s left another one of his toys running wild down here,
you better believe I’m about to break it in half.”

🔧 Dev Notes from the Archive:

This track originally ran 90+ seconds but was trimmed for pacing.

The buzz saw audio is actually a broken Dreamcast disc drive, layered with turbine sounds and reversed FX.

Shiny Shell Showdown was once part of a full mechanical “mini-zone,” but the idea was scrapped late in dev and the track salvaged for tone-setting.

Knuckles' next level, Sunken Gearjaw, kicks off seconds after this, and it’s all about underground tension, rusted tech, and heavy platforming.

Some say there's a coded message in the static right before the buzz saw kicks in. If you find it
 let me know. 🌀

More tracks to unlock. More secrets to dig up.
We’re just getting started.

🧭 See you deeper in the rabbit hole.
