Shonen Jump by Z7 [MARIO MAKER 2]
506After exactly 6 months of not uploading anything in this game, here's a new level, finally. It's not precision crew this time though, it's team jamp. Also I gotta say, it is pretty refreshing to one shot a level upload again. I don't even remember when was the last time I did that, probably late 2019, if we don't count the dedication levels I made in SMM1 this year.
I actually wasn't planning to join Team Jamp so soon, but when I remembered that this game is turning 2 years old, I figured I'd make something quickly. I made this pretty much last minute, so I didn't really have much time to make it hard, and I wasn't even sure if it would be approved before I posted this video. I made this in like 2-3 hours last night and showed it to a mod from the team asking if he thought it would get approved. Feedback was mostly positive but when I finally uploaded this I had to wait like 5 hours to hear from the judges, and since I had stuff to do today, I was getting pretty impatient cause I also wanted to upload this video at my usual time. They asked for a few nerfs so I considered reuploading the level without it being Team Jamp. I one shot the level so I really didn't see a reason to nerf it, and if I were to reupload it outside of the team, I would have buffed it. But after some arguing I calmed down a bit and made the changes anyway. Luckily I didn't need to wait 5 hours again and the level was approved just in time.
So why is the level called Shonen Jump? Uh... I wanted to include the word "jump" in the title and most of my SMM2 levels make references to real life things, but I couldn't think of anything that also made sense with the level. Then while waiting for this week's One Piece chapter I thought about using "Shonen Jump", the name of the magazine that publishes the chapters. Long story short, I'm a weeb, that's pretty much it.
