This is a video demonstration for Mawashi Geri, which is a Roundhouse Kick, ideally to your own head height/your opponent’s face level (if performing with a partner).
The sequence here shows the Jiyu Ippon, both offensively and defensively. For offense, the attacker performs the kick to the side of the opponent’s head.
For defense, the individual moves to be completely perpendicular to the attacker, simultaneously performing an “inside to outside block”, followed by a reverse punch.
