This is a detailed, step-by-step demonstration performed both individually and with a partner, showing the offense and defense of Kihon Ippon against Jodan (Stepping Forward Face Punch).

The offense in this video remains the same as it was in Kihon Ippon #1, but the defense is what changes significantly. For Kihon Ippon #2’s defense, we block in back stance and shift our weight into a front stance. Both the block and the counter attack are done with the blade of the hand.
