Should Baldur's Gate 3 be the New Standard?
28Is Baldur's Gate 3 the new standard for big games or even just RPG style games? My experience with Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay is fairly limited, but I have been following the game and reaction to it very closely. So while I can't give a Baldur's Gate 3 review I will say the game is impressive for many reasons.
There was a tweet from a developer that lead to a Baldur's Gate 3 IGN video that framed the whole discussion in an unhelpful way. This has been fueled by the Xbox vs PlayStation console war and many claiming that there was a Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 timed exclusive deal and that the Xbox Series S was not to blame for the late Xbox arrival.
Baldur's Gate 3 is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system.
