The latest Xbox news that came out of a massive Xbox leak of emails and documents that they leaked themselves in a mistake in the FTC Xbox hearing, In one of the documents Phil Spencer indicates that if Xbox Game Pass doesn't expand enough by 2027, Xbox will leave the business.

Yesterday we discussed the Xbox Series X vs S and the next Xbox next gen console coming in 2028. These Xbox leaks are huge because they show the Microsoft hardware strategy along with a new Xbox controller and how they will leverage xCloud for their future in gaming. Can they add enough Xbox Game Pass games in the future to sustain the business model? I don't think so.

Game Pass is a subscription service offered by Microsoft as part of Xbox network. Launched on June 1, 2017, the service allows users to download and play video games for Xbox video game consoles or Microsoft Windows PCs from a rotating library, with the games remaining accessible as long as the user has an active subscription.
