31Many are calling foul as Armored Core 6 nerfs Balteus and other challenging bosses. My experience with Armored Core 6 gameplay is limited but the the issue may be related to Armored Core 6 PVP being behind the first two chapters in the game.
Armored Core 6 Balteus serves as what many refer to as a "noob filter" or a "skill check" and now they claim he is far too easy. The latest Armored Core 6 update nerfed 3 bosses in particular. So let's discuss difficulty philosophy, and why an Armored Core easy mode simply would not work, but it's more complicated than that.
