11Should we demand more from Magic the Gathering? Should we demand better from Wizards of the coast? Or from Hasbro? Or from both? We have a cardboard addiction, with MTG, we love opening packs, we love the game. We also love the pieces of cardboard and that fresh pack smell. Ooh we are enticed by the pack opening feeling. But truely the question is, do we play with every card in the set? Does every card in the set see play or how much of our collection finds the bulk section of our collection? Yeah that is the thought, how much is bulk worth to us? Wizards of the coast is increasing the price of their product, but does not seem to increase the value of playability. We see a handful of cards that don't see the light of day? We get cards that are good for commander, standard and sometimes modern. but we find draft chaft and jank in every box we open. sometimes unsellable jank! commons and uncommon cards sometimes rares that are horrible for playing in any deck. Some cards that are bad for even the limited game. As these prices climb, I think we need to see product worth the price tag. Playbooster boxes are costing about $150 a box, and are not slowing down! I think we should demand more and better quality from these boxes of cards. especially if they want us to buy and play the game.
