Should You Play Dead Cells? | A Metroidvania Souls-Lite
23Dead Cells was released in Early Access on the 10th of May by Motion Twin on steam.
The game is a rogue-lite metroidvania platformer that features souls-like combat and beautiful pixel-art.
The question is, should you play it?
Being a rogue-lite game, the gameplay of Dead Cells revolves around using Cells dropped from enemies to unlock new weapons and items for future playthroughs. Unlike traditional souls games, death in Dead Cells is not the end.
