Shovelware Diggers #150 - Arbitrary Code Execution
Hooray for a third year of Shovelware Diggers! I'll be joining the digs again today as we kick things off with an old text-mode platformer, move on to a text adventure with... umm... vocabulary issues, then finish off with some software that's all about assembly code programs trying to brutally erase each other!
Actually, I get some of the details of said assembly code thing wrong, so if you'd like to learn more about it, I recommend starting off with the Wikipedia article about it first for a general overview, then checking out some of the linked sites to check out modern versions to try! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_War
Also, the show will be on a two week hiatus just to take a break from the grind. Shovelware Diggers will return at the end of the month on the 31st! :)
