The Evil Within 2 drags Sebastian back into STEM: the immersive brain-linking, Matrix-like simulation that went so wrong in the first game. Unfortunately for old Seb it's not doing much better in the sequel, in which artist-turned-serial killer Stefano Valentini has made STEM his personal gallery of gore.

Compare and contrast with Fallout 4 painter Pickman and Rapture's artist in residence Sander Cohen (last seen in BioShock Infinite Burial at Sea), who would both agree that great art comes from pain. No-one said it had to be their own pain, however, hence all the artsy murder going on in their respective games. Artists, eh.
