- NVidia only: The Vulkan Beta Driver 440.66.07 is required, any older version will not fix this.
- Outside of Steam only: Also Vulkan Header 1.2.135 is at least required due to some new Vulkan Extractions
- And last but not least Proton 5.0-5 or Proton 5.4-GE-2 or newer is required to expose the latest Vulkan Extensions too the Game.

=== How to manual installer ===

Get the VK Beta Drivers from here: https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver

- remove the NV driver installed via your package/driver manager
- reboot
- Do not log in, switch to TTY (Ctrl+Alt+F1)
- Log in as root or sudo capable user
- init 3 (will turn off the xserver and kill all graphical sessions)
- cd /where/you/downloaded/the/driver
- ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-440.66.07.run
- Step through the installer
- mkinitrd (to properly build the boot initial ram disk for your next boot)
- reboot and done

!ATTENTION!: If you want to use the driver provided by your distributions again, first uninstall the manually installed nvidia driver.

- Log out of all graphical sessions
- Log in to TTY (Ctrl+Alt+F1)
- init 3
- cd /where/you/downloaded/the/driver
- ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-440.66.07.run --uninstall
- mkinitrd
- reboot
