Yeah, it's as bad as you remember—shoddy controls, a camera that's got a mind of its own, and a plot that has jack-all to do with the movie. Magic Mirror's rambling about some Merlin dude and his evil fog, but who cares? Our mission? Do 'good deeds' to counteract that fog. With a skillset that includes burping and farting, what could possibly go wrong? Strap in, this one's gonna be a wild ride through a fairy-tale land that not even its own fairy godmother could love.
Shrek (2001) is a game ever. It was released 5 months after the movie and has nothing to do with it. It was developed by DICE Canada. Yeah... I don't have much else to say about it here. I purposefully didn't cut out my struggles in this game, because I felt that it was part of the authentic experience. If I have to suffer, so do you.
