Side by Side with a Friend | Distant Kingdoms - Part 4 - Early Access (Fantasy City Builder)
Distant Kingdoms continues (and also concludes) as we finally meet another one of the game's fantasy races, the Elves! We welcome the Elves to our settlement with open arms, give them some nice homes and make the most of their powerful magical abilities.
We also finally get that pesky coal mine built! It takes a while but we get there in the end and we're able to use the coal to get some tools made, which helps us upgrade quite a few of our existing buildings.
Our adventurers do some more exploring, which not only leads us to meet our Elven friends but they also give us some more land for us to build on and they have to deal with some pesky imps.
We build ourselves a little outpost on the other side of one of our tunnels so we can get our hands on some marble which we need to build our first school, although it does require some fiddling about with trade routes and suchlike to get all of the buildings constructed.
This also marks the end of our little run with Distant Kingdoms. As it stands right now I think we've seen all we need to see but we shall keep an eye on it as it develops through Early Access!
NOTE: This is the Early Access version of the game.
