UPDATE 2: As of REAPER 5.90 (Mar 24th 2018) you shouldn't even have to reinitiate the channel count after forcing stereo channels but changes should take effect immediately. Also the metering was updated slightly, I will have to re-test if the clipping after side chain limiting stems still highlights the LED or not.

UPDATE: Recent REAPER updates have made it so you can set the bus channel count on VST3 plugins manually. To use the Pro-L2 as a side chain limiter as a VST3 plugin, do everything exactly as you would as a VST2, however once the routing is set, open the Pro-L2 plugin window open the plug in pin connector which is the grey box in the top right corner, usually by default saying "2 / 4 in 2 out" then click on the small button saying "I/O", here in the dropdown menu go to "select VST3 bus channel count" and then Stereo (or however many channels you may need). Changes won't take effect immediately, so you might want to click on the little plus and minus again to set the correct number of channels. Now you can use your VST3 Pro-L2 as a side chain limiter and even with multichannel configurations such as 5.1 or 7.1. :)

I don't usually make tutorials but I found this feature quite useful and had some trouble setting it up myself.
