Silent Hill 2 Remake Graphics Fix: Improve Performance with Easy Steps | Gameplay Preview
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a quick tutorial on fixing graphics issues when using DLSS. I found that switching to FSR 3.0 can help reduce stuttering and freezing on your screen. Plus, there’s a specific line you need to add to the Engine.ini file to get everything working smoothly.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Press WINDOWS KEY + R to open the Run dialog box, type in %Appdata%, and then navigate to:
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\SilentHill2\Saved\Config\Windows
2. Open the Engine.ini file.
3. Scroll down to the bottom and paste this line:
[SystemSettings]
r.FidelityFX.FI.Enabled=1
4. Save the file and then restart the game.
5. Once the game loads, make sure to set SUPERSAMPLING to FSR 3.0. Adjust the FSR 3.0 PRESET and RENDERER QUALITY PRESET to your liking.
6. Finally, load your save or create a new game.
I hope this helps you fix your graphics issues too!
