James continues on and finds a static radio along with his first encounter with a monster which he quickly defeats with a 2 by 4. James then remembers the static radio and a very weak signal comes out barely making any sense. James continues on to a nearby caravan in which he finds a letter giving him some clues. He then heads for Neelys Bar and encounters a weird note (maybe a reference to Silent Hill 4's Walter Sullivan) he also finds a map which gives him another clue. After James retrieves the key he heads in to the apartment...
