Following the Circle-Spinning-Lady's not-so-circular directions on where to go next, Neosekken guides Harry to the business district of Silent Hill. It is here that Neo needs to go to a hospital located in the lower portion of the business district. Before going there though, Neo explores the entirety of the business district that he can, including the police station, gathering any supplies he can while learning about suspicious deaths and a drug trade in Silent Hill at the police station.

Eventually arriving at the hopistal itself, Neo meets a staff member of the hospital, Dr. Michael Kaufmann, a fellow survivor of the town who is seemingly just as ignorant as to what is happening around town as Harry is. Parting ways with the doctor after Harry asked him about Cheryl, Neo decides to explore the hospital in hopes of finding some kind of clue that could answer some of the mysteries that is hanging over his head. The hospital seems mostly deserted of life and is largely quiet. This relative peace doesn't last long, however, and before he knows it Neo has found himself in a version of the hospital that reminds him of what he saw happen at the school. Things only get worse from there...
