2000 years ago the first Silver Dwarves settled in the Havoral mountains. Our Castanorian friends protected us and let us mine to our hearts content. However there was a problem. While the mountains had many resources, they did not have enough to create a new hold. What kind of Dwarves would we be without a hold of our own? Many generations later, a brilliant dwarf devised a way to strip the land to access the resources underneath. This surface mine was nothing like the Dwarovar mines of the old country, but perhaps this would be enough to complete our hold. Our ambitions were forced to wait due to the Humans squabbling and the treacherous Wexonards getting in the way. They will know our wrath and their land shall be stripped bare to bring us a glorious new hold!
This is set in the world of Anbennar, a dnd inspired fantasy mod for the grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV (4). In this world there are countries made up of Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, and many more races or combinations of races. Magic, artificery, and monsters abound! War wizards launch massive fireballs to break down castle walls! All this and so much more await in this fantastical world!
