simcity SNES music on fm synthesis Volume I of II
43This plays through the first few tunes, from village to capital and then the "something bad happened in your city" tune where your told a plane crashed etc, as it always seems to happen at this stage anyways. There is a 2nd part to this one also where i recorded the metro/megalopolis tunes also.
The funny part was, is that SNES simcity sound samples DID sound like they came off an FM synth... so this was str8forward, and this is the soundtrack that i used to play simcity to as a youth. so i said one day to myself, whilst playing simcity 4, the music bored me to death, why not put SNES simcity music in as mp3s in simcity4... well, heres the dubs from the Regression FM synth i made, as it stood in may of 08. Current WIP's are done daily, and anyone with a sound blaster live/audigy soundcard is welcome to a freebie copy of my soundfont, just PM me with an email addy. Alls i ask in return is a bug report. Hardware soundfont support and KXdrivers recommend for intended sound.
