In this part I watch the intro of Simon the Sorcerer and learn how he is transported to another dimension by a magical spell book when he follows his dog through a portal that is opened by it. Simon the Sorcerer has been chosen to save Calypso from the evil wizard Sordid and in return he will be rewarded quite handsomely. However before he can fight Sordid he must become a wizard. So off to the local tavern The Drunken Druid and talk to the wizards inside so he can learn how to become one. He also acquires a beard from the dwarf inside by using the scissors he picked up. After learning all he can from the tavern and learning how to become a wizard. He leaves the tavern. In the next part Simon does a few more things before leaving the village and setting out into the forest.
